JOB DESCRIPTION

Pivotal IT is seeking an experienced Tier 1 Support Specialist to help us provide top tier technical support to our growing client base.

This is not a remote position. However, there may be opportunities for limited remote work after an evaluation period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Act as the initial contact for support requests received by phone, email and ConnectWise ticketing system
  • Quickly evaluate technical issues and escalate tickets to engineering staff as needed
  • Support end user customers via phone, email and remote session to resolve basic account, software and hardware issues on Windows desktops, laptops and printers
  • Maintain documentation, time and provide detailed notes on work performed and changes made to client systems via ConnectWise
  • Provide technical information clearly and simply to non-technical end users
  • Deliver / pickup hardware and assist engineering staff at client sites as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of technical support experience in a Business-to-Business environment
  • Excellent telephone manner, customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in adapting on the fly to accommodate priority issues
  • Strong analytic and diagnostic skills and the ability to implement quick and effective solutions to basic technical problems
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
  • Experience working for/with a Managed IT Services Provider and ConnectWise software a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION

Pivotal IT is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative / Outside Sales Associate to work with our existing sales and marketing team to help drive continued growth with new clients and expand our relationships with existing clients in Spartanburg, SC and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop a solid understanding of our value proposition to potential clients and translate our value in both written and oral communications.  
  • Acquire new accounts though B2B prospecting to the C-Level, networking events and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our existing client base to better assess client technology needs, further brand loyalty and drive sales.
  • Work with our Engineering Team to identify hardware, software, licensing and infrastructure needs for existing and prospective clients and projects.
  • Provide quotes and place orders for hardware, software and other technology products via QuoteWerks and Connectwise CRM.
  • Manage contracts and agreements to ensure expectations are being established, communicated and met.  
  • Work with management to qualify and disqualify potential clients.  
  • Work with marketing to help drive campaigns and client facing materials.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years technology related sales experience.

  • Strong understanding of current small business network technologies and frameworks.
  • Proficient in presenting technical service and consulting agreement proposals to C-level executives via PowerPoint and speaking to all levels and group sizes in person, on the phone and in writing. 
  • Professional appearance. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • Strong judgement, time management and prioritization. 
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License. 

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience with QuoteWerks and/or ConnectWise software.
  • Previous experience with a Managed Technology Services firm, Cloud Computing and Business Continuity sales.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and licensing.
